Most senior dogs don’t limp. They stop.

This is what stopping looks like.

  • Stop taking the back steps.
  • Stop asking to get in the car.
  • Stop meeting you at the door.
  • Stop getting on the couch before you’ve finished sitting down.

Owners read it as slowing down. Usually it’s a hand with the back end.

Why we only do senior.

The pet shop mostly stops having anything for them at about seven. Past that it’s all puppies: puppy food, puppy toys, puppy beds with a “senior” sticker on the box.

Senior dogs aren’t broken young dogs. They need different foam densities, different chew textures, different gradients. Not a softer version of a puppy product. A different product.

So that’s all we sell. One life stage, done properly, from a small Australian business that isn’t trying to cover the other twelve years as well.
