These terms apply when you use oldmatepetco.com.au or buy from Old Mate Pet Co. (ABN 71 959 047 558), "we" or "us". By placing an order you agree to them. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Your rights under Australian Consumer Law

Our products come with guarantees that can't be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If a product has a major failure, you're entitled to a replacement or refund, and to compensation for other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. If a failure isn't major, you're entitled to have it repaired or replaced. See our returns page for how to start a claim.

Products and descriptions

We try to describe and photograph every product accurately, including its size. Colours can look slightly different on different screens. Our products are general gear for older dogs, not veterinary treatments; if your dog has a health condition, talk to your vet.

Prices and payment

Prices are in Australian dollars. Delivery is charged at checkout: a flat $9.95, and free on orders of $99 or more. We're not registered for GST, so no GST is charged. Payment is taken when you place your order. If a product is listed at an obviously wrong price because of an error, we'll contact you before dispatch and you can choose to pay the correct price or get a full refund.

Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we dispatch it. If we can't fulfil it, for example because a product has sold out at our supplier, we'll tell you and refund you in full.

Delivery

Our products ship from overseas. Allow 10 to 15 business days for delivery anywhere in Australia; the estimate is shown at checkout before you pay. We don't ship outside Australia. More detail is on our delivery page. If your order hasn't arrived after 15 business days, contact us and we'll track it down, or replace or refund it if it's lost.

Cancellations and returns

You can cancel for a full refund any time before your order is dispatched; email us with your order number. After dispatch, faulty or not-as-described products are covered by the Australian Consumer Law, as above. For change-of-mind returns, see our returns page.

Using our website

The text, photos and design on this site belong to us or our suppliers. Please don't copy them for commercial use without permission. Don't misuse the site, for example by trying to interfere with how it works or placing fraudulent orders.

Liability

Apart from your rights under the Australian Consumer Law and any other liability that can't be excluded by law, we're not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of our website or products.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the version on this page when you order is the one that applies to that order. These terms are governed by the laws of the Australian Capital Territory.
